We are ON it by creating a web of nomads, vessels, and basecamps around the world🗺🏝🏕⚓️🧩🍍for more fun, impact, support and anticipation to what the future withholds. As Ocean Nomads we navigate between all of it ⛵️🚌🚵🚣♂️🏄♀️ We are spread out globally but it’s all about the connections and action locally🌱
The main challenge we find with accelerating the ON basecamp is finding epic locations and value sharing team-ups. Project CoSagres is one that has it all. Are you interested to jump on board?
The Aim of COSagres
To create a regenerative natural living environment as an inclusive community of individuals where together we learn, grow, develop, create, facilitate, and can simply be. We dream, do, create, trust and care for each other and their environment – and build a place which feels like home.
Somewhere in the South West corner of Portugal, there’s something beautiful in the making: COsagres. In the middle of the natural park, close to the ocean, an old farm on a large plot of land is turned into a cool coliving adventure community with nature, outdoor play and circular design at the center of stage. There’ll be studios, apartments, a yoga space with views of the ocean, communal spaces, a natural pool, a place to pitch a tent, park a van, grow food, and lots more room to play, develop, build, and create. All in tune with the local culture, nature, and architecture. We don’t need to figure it all out by ourselves, to buy and build it by ourselves. This project is about sharing, caring, and collaborating so we can reach further, be more, do more, and making those sustainable living dreams come true.

We are a mix of entrepreneurs, nature lovers, surfers, sailors, and creatives with access to a peaceful positive vibe place in nature and the aim to create something beautiful together. We have an entrepreneurial state of mind, we love nature, we surf and sail, we build and create.

A LOT has been figured out already and a lot has to be figured out. This is continuous and dynamic. There’s a team of lawyers, notaries, and locals involved in making sure everything goes legal, well documented, and in tune with the local scene. What’s urgent now, is securing funds to be able to continue at all. Finding big investors is challenging and takes time. We’re interested to see how far we can get with many small investments. So we can get something sustainably going, faster. We’d love to learn better from you what YOU’d look for in an Ocean Nomads basecamp and why or why not you’d be interested and able investing time, money, or energy in CoSagres.
The Cosagres project is a mix of COliving, COmmunity, entrepreneurship, and hospitality business that shares the Ocean Nomads values and emphasizes on living with nature, regeneration and COllaboration. This location is SUPER special. It’s located in an outdoor paradise with lots of epic beaches to choose from for surf, SUP and dropping anchor. The nearest marina is Lagos on 15NM. There’s room for Ocean Nomads to help shape the project, without getting lost in all the bureaucratics that come with it. The values of Cosagres are very aligned with Ocean Nomads. If we can be involved with a bunch of Ocean Nomads we can really get something continuous going in this part of the world, while still being able to nomad. Also, I think for whoever has the means, money is not meant to sit on a bank. It’s smarter and more sustainable to put it in land or a house. With happiness being the main ROI, and future funds.
