Ocean Nomads is building a global regenerative network of explorers, creators, and adventurers who live lightly, travel consciously, and protect the blue planet we all call home. We believe adventure is more than travel. It’s a way to reconnect, with nature, purpose, and each other.
With support from the Cross-Re-Tour Open Innovation Programme, funded by the European Union, we’ve spent the past months expanding our digital home for ocean adventurers, travellers and explorers who care. Our goal: to make conscious, low-impact travel by sea not only possible, but collaborative, connected, and regenerative.
What We’ve Built Together
The Ripple Log
A new Eco-Action Tracker inside our Digital Hub where members record and celebrate everyday actions and adventures for people and planet. Whether sailing by wind, repairing gear, sharing a tip, or meeting a fellow nomad, each action creates a ripple that adds up to real impact.
The Interactive Member Map
A redesigned global chart that connects sailors, surfers, vanlifers, and changemakers. Members can now locate each other, share sustainability tips, offer rides, or co-create local impact projects.
The Digital Hub and Resource Library
Simpler, more intuitive, and filled with new peer-led guides on sustainable sailing, provisioning, and ocean-friendly living. It’s our basecamp for collaboration, mentorship, and lifelong learning.
Zero to Ocean Nomad Crew Course
Fully rebranded and updated, this online course helps aspiring sailors gain the confidence, mindset, and practical know-how to travel by sail, safely and consciously.
The Journey Ahead
The next phase of the project focuses on testing, member feedback, optimization, and expanding.
We’re not just building tools. We’re creating a movement for conscious adventure and ocean stewardship. Every map pin, shared story, and logged ripple brings us closer to a future where travel regenerates what it touches.
