Introducing the Ocean Nomads Impact Project Grant Fund: Turning Your Ocean Dreams Into Action
The Challenge
Many of us ocean lovers, sailors, and adventurers have a dream—to create meaningful, positive impact for our blue planet. Whether it’s a marine conservation project, a community cleanup, or an eco-conscious sailing journey, turning that vision into reality often comes with one big challenge: resources.
Here at Ocean Nomads, want to help YOU take action, too.
We’re excited to introduce the Ocean Nomads Impact Project Grant Fund—a member-led initiative to fund YOUR ocean adventure and conservation projects!
How Does It Work?
💶 Contribution With Purpose:
Every Ocean Nomads trip participant contributes €50 to the fund, and 5% of all membership fees will also go toward it. By joining our trips or becoming a member, you’re directly supporting ocean impact projects—and pooling resources to create a ripple effect of change.
🌟 Pitch Your Project:
As a member, you’ll soon have the chance to pitch your project idea. Whether it’s:
- A marine research expedition,
- A coastal cleanup initiative, or
- A sailing journey with purpose,
we want to hear your ideas and help bring them to life.
🗳️ Vote Together:
This fund is by the community, for the community. Members and trip participants will vote on the projects they believe in the most. Votes will come from upcoming Ocean Nomads sailing trips AND the wider Ocean Nomads member network.
